Do you design custom headers for your themes...? Or does anyone here do that?

I love the GreyDream theme and want to use this - do you permit that? i.e. header changes?

Hi Christian - thanks for the reply. Thing is, I don't have PSP and the psd file I have that came with Grey Dream only has one weird looking button in it! Not sure what the thread you provided the link for actually does...?

The link he provided gives directions for how to change the text (for things like your board/site name) in the header images included with the style.

If you don't have PSP, what program are you using to open the psd file?

I use ULEAD PhotoImpact for all my image / graphic work but I am no graphic artist...

I can open them with Adobe Photoshop CS

you can dl a free trial of paint shop pro or photoshop to open and modify them.

I am trying to use photoshop cs to, change the text "your company name" to my own. How do I get to that layer? The file was saved as a .jpg, so If I convert it to a .psd it will have the same properties as a .jpg right ?

In order for you to get to the correct layer in the PSD file, you must be sure that you have the original file that was downloaded from the source and save it as a PSD, nothing different. Then, and only then, can you access the proper layer and edit the text. As long as it is a JPG, you cannot edit the text. Hope this helps!

You can convert the file you may need to look on the net for the right program to do so but im sure it can be done. If not just take your time and design your own header if it has been given permission to change.
