I have always wanted to know how you forum designers start a design. I have seen sites with designes that are just fantastic, but how the hell do you do them?

Tips or even a how to or were to start would be great.

i think it's essential to have some photoshop know how, so perhaps start searching google for photoshop tutorials...at least...thats what i do

Well im nor expert but im thinking you need to know a lot about the actual programing side of the way vBulletin works , Because you have to remember vBulletin comes as standard there is also a lot of code work to do as well as the graphics. Even more so if you have hacks added

you can also edit the skin in dreamwever mx and work out what you want on the skins

takes lots of trial and error i guess, i do know one thing for sure is, this has been the best site that i have come across and seen questions asked being answered with the correct answers.

been to other vb websites and yako ones, but they just keep refering to other sites that have no answers.
