Hi SteveO,

do you mean vBCMS?

If yes, please download pack.zip (attachment) and read the install.htm for installation instructions. Import the phrase file vbcms_English (US).xml.

Note:
The phrase file is not 100% translated yet. I hope at the end of this week, the full english package will be available. Sorry about this. It's my mistake, I'm to slowly, and I've made excessive demands of myself with the translation.

Regards,

Stoebi

Hi Stoebi,

Thanks for the files.

Have just uploaded and I'm trying upload/import the .xml file (I've changed the name to vbcms.xml) but I'm getting a message 'Invalid File Specified'.

What could be the problem?

Hi,

I tried upload through Languages and Phrase but I am getting this message 'The file you attempted to import only contains phrases and none of the settings required. You will be unable to make a new language with this file.'

I've just received an automatic error email from our forum.

But before I go into that, I have not run any install for the vbcms. Should I have done this? How?

You have to Import the file "vbcms.xml" via the Product Managemen in the ACP. (AdminCP -> Plugins & Products -> Productmanager -> Add/Import Product. Selevt the file "vbcms.xml" and klick Import.

Now the vB CMS Menu should appear.

Tried that, still does not work (invalid file).

Could somebody give me a list (idiot proof) of what has to be done to do a complete install. I'm obviously missing something, or the install instructions are not good enough.

1.) Edit the File "vbcms_location.php" and enter the absolout Path to your forum. (If you don't know the path, upload the file "show_forumroot.php" to your forumroot and open it in your browser).
2.)Upload all Files from the upload directory to your forumroot, and upload vbcms.php and vbcms_location.php in the same dir.
3.) Import Product (See Post above)

If you have done this steps, open vbcms.php in your browser.

Greetings Surviver

PS. Sorry for my bad english, i hope you can understand this,

Done it !!

What was confusing is that my subdirectory is already called 'forum' so I uploaded the all the folders in the 'upload' directory. This, of course, gave it another subdirectory called 'folders'.

Still, all OK now.

Just need the final English translations. Will they be available soon?
